how to check DVD rom specs..

anyone care to help me out...

my receit says its a panasonic 16x DVD Rom
but in cdrwin it says Matsh!ta 12x DVDRom

Take the DVD outta the case and see what it says on the sticker thats attached to it.

matsu****a is the parent company of panasonic. same brand/company, so don't worry bout it

hi just bought a DVD rom...

it sometimes makes loud noise... and they said it was a 16X Pioneer or Panasonic....

but there is no name on the front tray... and when i went to
My Computer>Properties>Device Manager>CDRoms
its reads as Mat****a DVD-Rom SR-8587

wundering there is any software that can give me an more accurate reading...
