Converting dvd's for my Ipod?

Ok so I just bought a new ipod and i wanna put some dvds on it just not 100% sure how to?

Any tips would be great?

and just a heads up its vista if there are new apps out there for it?

CloneDVD Mobile
DVDFab Platinum
