winamp question, 2.75 version

Post by Cornbread »

i am using the current version of winamp, 2.75 (unless they just updated it :) ). anyway, i have noticed it pauses sometimes or jitters like a cd would if you made it skip. anyone else notice this problem? i know its not my mp3's because i have played them in other sound players and they work fine, and sometimes they work fine in winamp.

Howdy cornbread.

Strange, I'm using 2.74 and I dont' have that problem. I don't think the codec was changed in 2.75 either.

Is there a possibility that you had a corrupted download?

Maybe go back to 2.74 and try it.

I tried it a while back. Lots of neat features. Still, I'm sticking with 2.74 or 5 till I see a report on how 3's codec stacks up.

Winamp B3 kicks some serious butt, been using it for a little over 1 month now and I like it so far, other than a few missing features the beta 3 engine sounds amazing. I can hear the improvement over Winamp v 2.xx. I can't wait till it goes final and all the features have been implemented.

thx downhill for the response. i think my problem might be my sound card drivers now, and not winamp.
