Hey I was wondering what programs there are for downloading music and stuff. I have limewire and it sucks, I am getting really tired of it. Anyone know of any other good ones.

soulseek is a personal favorite of mine for music

DC++ is a great community share

Bitlord and .urls for movies and new release stuff

As I find it the legal pay sites with good quality are truely not legal...the quality of a iTunes or what not is garbage and all the low cost pay sites in russia are far from legal.

For me I would use soulseek for music, but I would also download and use peerguardian2 to protect yourself from corperate sniffers. Remember the DCMA in the states is a legal invasion of privacy and one needs to protect themselves.

Napsters quality is 192kbps, same with Rhapsody.

And technically legal means is all we can discuss here

I wouldnt bet any money on that, they seem to go wherever they want.
