Michigan Vs. Ohio State

Post by Roody »

Grew up in Ohio, lifelong Wolverines fan (Not to mention a USC one also), but this hype is beyond ridiculous. Has anyone noticed ESPN's site in the last 24 hours? They have a countdown clock to the game.

It's basically the National Championship tomorrow.

Although I do agree the coverage is crazy.

Its the craziest its ever been but its the biggest this game has ever been, at least in the 25 years I can remember it. Now that Schembechler died it will go to another level.

I'm like you Roody, grew up in Ohio, life long UofM fan, and now I'm living and working around Ann Arbor.

the hype is always pretty big among the fans, but this year with it being 1&2 is seems the media has really stepped it up.

I seriously wonder something with Bo passing:
1. will OSU show enough class to hold a moment of slience (I'm betting yes)
2. will the OSU fans show enough class to honor it and not make a$$es of themselves..

I think they will on both counts. Ohio State fans can be real idiots at times, but I have seen them conduct themselves with real class when bad situations occur. In fact I think this has the potential of dying down some of the stupidity that was going to occur before this happened.

good point. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but too many bad memories.

The moment of silence has already been scheduled.

Most businesses are closing at 3 pm tomorrow.

The Goodyear blimp is here already.

Traffic pretty much a mess, and I'm five miles from the stadium.

my neighbor hosts a party, grosses around $70,000. I should go work for him,

40 arrests, some small dumpster fires. Looked like one overturned car.

The best it has been for years, but still absolutely unacceptable.

It is a shame because Ohio State is an excellent institution. They have done the Big 10 proud this year as a team. :thumb:

I think Michigan will win the rematch.

(Not to say that I'm a wolverines fan).
