im helping my neighbor re update & installation for GeForce MX 4000. i know its an obsolete & crapy vga card but my q's is... what driver series is the most stable one? are the one's from omega/NGO advisable/stable? i think she only plays Wolfenstein: ET
any suggestion pls? i like to help her, she's very hmm.. (nvm)
First I would try the latest driver and if that caused a problem then I would look at the old ones to find one that was made before teh geforce FX series.
nope its got a SLI bug in it (which pops up on single cards) but they haven't released a fix for it yet cept on the 91.33 beta which is better than the WHQL... WHQL doesn't always mean its the best... go to nzone.com and follow downloads then to beta's and download the 91.33's give them a shot and just see how it does.. and remember any of the 9x.xx drivers come with the new control panel but you can change it back to classic.
