Yeah, if you consider G80 cards at the "end of the year" and Vista's Jaunary 2007 release date "around the corner."

Nvidia's Next-Gen video cards are coming out in Q3 this year around july-august, not that that far away, wait a few months and have a true Vista ready PC, and not have to consider upgrading to DX10 vid cards after spending alot of money on two DX9 cards.

£434.69 7900 GTX OC 512MB GDDR3

£364.19 PowerColor ATI Radeon X1900 XT-X

Saving £140 and getting a more powerful card, as said 11k/13k 3dmark 2006.

Not sure about USA pricing though, but in UK quite a big saving.

you forgot on monitor if you wanna see true VISTA in action, the HD monitors are around $1000 USD and there is only 8 or 9 of them,im not sure, correct me someone if im wrong

i can see your point in 3Dmarks or any other benchmarking software but whats that for ? Because you will open file 1sec faster then anyone else or kill somebody in game in just matter 0.5 sec ?
Killing somebody in game is not just in your hardware, its a skill and respect and no matter how fast your computer is,if your opponent is using 100mbit fiber optic ISP (they are all over europe and canada now not sure about us) and he has 60% worst PC he is gonna spot you first and kill you faster.
