Because of the backing of Microsoft & their expertise a very elite Child Porn Tracking System has been set up in Canada and the information shared Worldwide.
It truly is a wonderful weapon against those that would perpetrate such horrors on the young defenceless children who most need our protection.
Two articles below will tell the Story of its effectiveness.

Face to face: T.O. Cop and porn-tracking billionaire

*McLEAN, Va. -- Toronto cop Paul Gillespie has finally met the man who helped Canada develop an elite pornography tracking system, Microsoft chairman Bill Gates.
The two spoke briefly before attending a seminar yesterday on new uses for technology in fighting crime and tackling other global problems.
"It was an honour," said Gillespie, who e-mailed Gates in frustration in 2003 and asked for help creating a tool to catch online pornographers. "He's done an awful lot of good in the world. He recognizes that as much good as the Internet brings, it also brings the bad and Microsoft has to work closely with law enforcement."
Gates, recently identified as the richest man in the world by Forbes magazine for the 12th year in a row, is wort h about bout $50 billion US.
Gates praised Gillespie, who heads Toronto's child exploitation tracking unit.
"He's truly been a leader in protecting the safety of children online and convincing government, law enforcement and the private sector that we all need to work together to tackle this important problem," Gates said.
After Gillespie's e-mail, Microsoft Canada pumped $4.5 million Cdn into creating the Child Exploitation Tracking System.

*Police stumbled into the worst scene imaginable - live web broadcasts of people raping children and even babies
=====
No longer content with disgusting still images of the worst imaginable child pornography. No longer titillated with the recycling of the same horrific child porn videos.
And so it has now come to this -- live child sexual assault, online and on demand.
In an investigation that began in Edmonton, and with suspects identified by Toronto Police's renowned child exploitation branch, 27 people have been arrested in four countries in a global online child pornography sting.
Not only were these users of the Kiddypics & Kiddyvids chat room exchanging child porn, some were making their own by raping children and sharing it with their fellow perverts, sometimes live via webcam.
One baby victim was so young that it still had its umbilical cord attached.
"It's extremely concerning, it's extremely disturbing," said Staff Insp. Jane Wilcox of the Toronto Police sex crimes unit. "In the past, a lot of the child pornography that was found and seized was quite old and dated. The disturbing thing is this is real time, real children, today. And not just children. Babies."
Of the 27 charged, four are accused of sexually assaulting children for the benefit of their fellow chat room users. One man, who used the screen name "Acidburn," is accused of producing live streaming video as he sexually molested an infant.
The charges, announced yesterday by U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, include possession, receipt, distribution and manufacture of photos and live-streaming video of adults sexually abusing children and infants. And they will come to justice, he said, thanks to Canada.
"I am grateful for the good work of the Edmonton Police and the Toronto Police Service to bring this case to light," Gonzales said during a press conference in Chicago, also attended by Toronto Deputy Police Chief Tony Warr.
"When [we were] first approached by Canadian law enforcement, our investigators were told it was one of the worst child pornography cases they had ever seen, and regrettably, it truly was," said Julie Myers, assistant secretary for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Nine people have been arrested in Canada -- including a man from Toronto and another from Woodbridge. Thirteen people have been indicted in the U.S., while three suspects in Australia and two in Great Britain were also charged in the sting.
As for hundreds of their little victims, four have been identified in Edmonton and seven have been rescued in the United States -- one just 18 months old. All are in "safe custody."
The case began in Edmonton in May 2005 with a man known online as Big_daddy619.
He was charged with sexually assaulting his two stepchildren and two of their friends during sleepovers, attacks which he transmitted live, via webcam, to other chat room members.
He was sentenced last July to 14 years in prison, listed on the sex offender registry and banned for life from public areas where there are children.
While Edmonton Police were trying to log onto one of Big_daddy619's Internet accounts, they witnessed a United Kingdom man abusing his 12-year-old stepdaughter live on a web cam.
They had fallen through the looking glass.
After they notified British authorities, the man was arrested within 24 hours and charged with 16 counts of sexual assault and child porn-related crimes.
Edmonton Police realized they had stumbled upon something more horrific than anything they had tackled before. And so they called in the child exploitation experts at Toronto Police and their computer tracking system, developed with Microsoft Canada.
"Our people jumped in with both feet," says Wilcox of Toronto Police. "Our folks went into the chat room, were monitoring it anonymously, and then went further in undercover. And any time we identified any of the users, that information was peeled off and sent to the respective country."
But ultimately, what good will it do when possession of child porn is treated so lightly in this country?
The exemplary work done by Toronto Police led to 27 arrests, including that of Carl Treleaven, a 49-year-old Edmonton father who was on his computer when police raided his home in January.
They discovered more than 90 chat participants were waiting to download images and video from Treleaven's vast 20 gigabyte collection of child porn.
After pleading guilty, Treleaven apologized in court last week for being an administrator for the global chat room. Yes, he knew perfectly well that he was helping to run an international porn ring. Yes, he knew that he was sharing photos and videos of people raping young children, including their own.
Yet, for all that, even the prosecutor on the case is asking that Treleaven serve only 3 1/2 years in jail.
