Contains a step-by-step guide depending on which Outlook you are using.
However, I read that you had to be Yahoo! Mail Plus subscrber to be able to have the pop access to be able to use Outlook and other similar clients.

Well, to use the POP3 (to be able to use Outlook to get your Yahoo mail) you have to be a subscriber to Yahoo! Mail Plus - which is $19.99 year from the looks of it. If you are a subscriber, just put pop.mail.yahoo.com as the incoming mail server. For the outgoing server use smtp.mail.yahoo.com
However, if you are not a Yahoo! Mail Plus subscriber then you will not be able to use Outlook to check your mail.

YahooPOPs! is an open-source initiative to provide free POP3 access to your Yahoo! Mail account.
This application emulates a POP3 server and enables popular email clients like Outlook, Netscape, Eudora, Mozilla, Calypso, etc., to download email from Yahoo! accounts.
This application acts like a gateway. It provides a POP3 server interface at one end to talk to email clients and an HTTP client (browser) interface at the other which allows it to talk to Yahoo!
YahooPOPs! is also available for UNIX @ the authors site.

your incoming and outgoing server is probably the same. I don't know what provider you have but mine is something like this-- (but not exact)
mail.comcast.com
I don't have comcast, but another provider, just switch the name..
Maybe the prog can walk you through it...
anyway-- Outlook--Tools--Accounts-Add--Mail-- ( there is a wizard that walks you through)
Since you are using/adding yahoo, I think you have to put their server addy in, not sure, because I haven't used that prog in awhile..
