I have dell 2350 1.8ghz 256mb 40gig, on the afternoon my place lost power due to the weather, when I came back I tred to power up the computer, the cd lights goes on but would display the sysm on the screen. I know is not the lcd screen because I tested with my laptop & its ok. Could be the video card or the hd?. Also at the back of the computer it has a four light display which is supposed to give a diagnostic lights. When the computer power ups the last light is light up as yellow? It seems that a lot of the members here don't go outside of the gen forum. I have also noticed that people are starting to post tech questions in the gen forum and nobody seems to care. Mind you there are still a few of us that do check the other forums. You just have to be patient and wait for someone who has the correct knowledge to help your with your problem.
I don't know the same things you don't know.
