well there are pros and cons of both, but i would recommend dsl because in most areas the bandwidth is alot cleaner cuz its for a smaller range of people in a given area. where do you live? what companies are you considering?

I live in Toronto too.. And i just want to say go with Rogers@home. Bell Sympatico isin;t good right now. people cant download at even 70kb /sec anymore using Sympatico.

And Sympatico has a cheap 128kbps upload cap.

Now with Cable you got downloads from anywhere between 300 to 400 kb/sec and a good upload cap at 385kbps.

So i recommend cable. I have Rogers and its never slow. I once had sympatico but that treated me like a 56k modem :) So i switched to Cable instead.

Go with Cable.
