got a Netgear wireless ( for my 2 neighbors that use it from their laptops ) and to save a shout down the hall, would very much like to have IM w/o using the usual online apps. is there such a program ? possibly freeware ?

G'day , was wondering if theres a program for IM inside my new home network.
