Flash Before Bios Line on Boot-up

Post by phil19934 »

Hi. When I start my computer, I see a line flash on the screen quickly before the bios identification line and memory scan. I think it says Roach 1.1, but it is too quick to really read. Is there a way to step through the boot-up (XP Pro) to see what it is? Has anyone heard of this? Thanks.

well you could try a F5 on post to get a command prompt so you can see the process.
is this a fresh install or an upgrade ?
