I had forgotten how slow modems really are. I'm on AOL now, cable modem is in the box. :(

I'm not letting them format anything. I'm not going to let them install the software either. Things are already setup on the computer. If they insist, I'll let them and then uninstall the crap after they are done.

No, I meant that you're gonna need to format your computer in order to totally get rid of that crap called AOL. That thing will infest your system worse than Mad Cow disease. Add/Remove Programs won't work with AOL.

When i moved.. they told me to bring in the old cable modem. but i never did. So now i have two cable modemss.. that was like 6month ago. and they never charged me for it

anyone got any ideas to what to do with an extra cable modem..?

Just got done putting the work order in for transferring service to my new location. They aren't even going to charge me! I have to go turn in the cable modem today, service will be installed at the new location on Monday the 14th. So I thiink I can suffer with AOL for a few days. So I am now unhooking the cable modem *sniff* *sniff*
