Somehow we were customers long enough they tripled our speed :D

Earthlink/Sprint PPPoe DSL....as you can see.....Ive already tweaked to get 90 2/3% of total speed :2cool:

29.99 a month.......Cox is avail, for 40.....I dont pay the bills tho so its not my choice

So you have the 1.5/128 package? Those speeds are pretty decent if thats what youve got :)

My ISP did the same thing about 4 months ago, I was at 512/256 and now I've got 1.5/256 for no extra charge :thumb:

If they give u 1.5/256 at no extra charge, they are probably still making a profit off of you. How badly were they ripping you off before with 512/256 that they can bump it up to 1.5/256 and still make a profit...

But either way, it's good rite? heh..

I pay approx $30 a month for my ISP not sure exactly why they bumped me up all I know is that it is a good thing...and they have to make a profit somehow, that's the whole point of having a business isnt it?

Cable ISP did the same here as well.. was 512/128 for 4-5 yrs and they upped it to 3mbit/256kb free of charge but the service was never near those speeds so we switched to a cheaper ISP with the same speeds and it always runs near max b/w caps.

Gotta love it when corporations give back to the consumer. :thumb:
