I think the look of it looks ghetto.. Just like JD said looks like coloring book colors..
Personaly I like the newest modern type of look, like the attacker theme from Windows blinds or something of that nature

Ok.. my opnion on it:
its much faster than the ones b4,, (less buggier), with the earlier builds if u had the graphics theme turned on, it would really slow down. in this build they fixed that up. u really cant compare it with any other os until the final has come out.. considring this is only pre-beta2.
here are some screen shots for ur enjoyment:

Screen shot #1:
This one is just the desktop.. with the new taskbar ..and start button.. i like it!. the background is third party.. i just really like the background.

Image

Screenshot#2:

U have the choice to chooose how your folder will display your files.. for ex: (shown).. the music folder.. has like the artists songlenghts...
for pics u have like a photo album which is really cool:
Image

Screenshot#3:
This is the control panel.. u can always change it to the old STyle.. (as you can see on the left).. but i like it this way

Image

Thats ALL FOLKS!

no, one is still broken. in the music screen shot, their are quite a few backstreet boy's songs on their, is their something your not telling us? ;)

the new OS looks really gay unless you put in classic mode, and I hope the task bar is improved (looks that way, but I have to try it out). I still think OSX would rock the world on a PC

Man, they've gone heavy into the MSN Explorer look, haven't they?
How is it running? I mean, is it pretty stable and works well with other apps?

At least you can have the classic windows interface. Those first few pictures were very ugly YUCK! I have heard that people are saying that whistler is a rip off of Mac OS 10, sure doesn't look like it to me. OS 10 is much prettier.

I've seen some of your posts about this, but what I want to know is, How do YOU like it?

Has anything been said at all about a proposed release date?

I realize it is still Beta but, you being a tester and all, I thought maybe you'd have heard something. Just curious as it gets!!!! :D

Can I ask why you have the Netbus client on your computer?
Simply run adaware, spybot, ZoneAlarm, HijackThis, AVG, update windows daily, have a router, don't open e-mail, turn off action scripting, don't use P2P networks, don't violate EULAs, and wear a condom to get Windows secured.

People say Linux is alot of work!

I know what ur probably thinking.. that i try to hack into other peoples computer, but .. the prog has very good uses if u want to control your own computer. I use it to control the other 3 computers in the house, they are all networked..
