Need new broadband service

Need new broadband service

After a few years of Focal (RIP) G.Lite DSL and then sharing my neighbor's SBC DSL service, I'm now back to dialup. yuck.

I need to get some type of broadband service, and being 11000ft from the CO limits me from getting into these 3-6Mbps DL packages.

I'm thinking about just getting the $25/month SBC 1.5/384 1-year contract, but the big issue is I want to move this spring/summer to and undecided location. The montly-by-month rate is $49 for the same package.

If I have to cancel SBC service because I move, then I might be facing a $200 fee. Has anyone delt with moving and now the different companies/packages handle this?
