does anyone has a suggestion of how to eliminated the most common error on the ps2 disc error? My system is only 2 1/2 yr old. It wont read any blue disk except ace combat 4.

i did found the instruction from the tech tv xplay info, which i will try tomorrow. Does anyone have tried to open the machine & actually do it?

there is this white Gear near the laser it lowers and highers the level of the laser reader put it as high as it will go and it works! i did it it was in some old Gamepro mag!

This is a well-known issue with the PS2. You should call cutomer support and raise hell

Right now Im opening the ps2 (open surgery). I will let u know if the operation is a success or failure.
