I have downloaded some mame emulators such as: mame074b i686 from mame.net, the problem is that the emulator supposed to be windows format, bu the only way that I get the emulator to work is thru dos command. DO u know any other type of mame emulator tht is easy to use? also any website for roms (besides of kazaa media)? :D

I believe roms are still considered to be illegal, are they not?

Downloaded arcade roms are legal if you currently own the game, or at least the guts (circuit boards and such) that powered the game (which would contain the same data as the downloaded file).

Otherwise, yeah, it's usually either illegal or falling into that grey area (read: still illegal) of abandonware.
