Stupid question but do they normally have a set day that they post updates? I'm a manual updater myself.

No Ross, they don't as far as I know.
There used to be an update email service where you could register to get an automated advice of an update. A quick look failed to find it on their redesigned website.
The best I can suggest is checking here. It's usually posted within minutes of release by someone. :D

Can't you use the "scheduler" blebs?

Yeah I could, but Norton had me spoiled to do daily manual updates, so I just check the site everyday to see.

trained? ;) :p AVG trained me that way. :D
I also manually update. Never had autoupdate set to run because of the staggered times we dial up.

With the new small updates, they should be more frequent. Gotta love that.
