Please help me with Partition Magic 8

Post by Tuz76 »

Hello Ppl,

I have one 20G harddrive currently roughly equal partitioned into C, D, E and F

The problem is C,D and E are all pretty full, in particular C which has only about 10% space left. F is still quite emtpy.

What I want to know is how can I merge it so that F and C join up. I mean I want The contents of D and E to be left alone, while I dont mind the contents of F being merged with those in C.

You guys still following? :)

Basically in a nutshell, I just want to use the free space in F and combine it to free up more space onto my C drive.

In the end I think my drives will end up C, D and E if im not incorrect.

Thanks. Please advise,

I never used PM, however, it seems that you would have to delete the F partition and convert the niow free space to the E partition. Check theb PM manual for how to do this.
No one has any right to force data on you
and command you to believe it or else.
If it is not true for you, it isn't true.

shrink the F: drive to what ever you want or even remove it, apply the settings.

Then resize C: with the left over space
