Looking for a DSL router

As always I had an idea right after this post... if I was to buy a nice wireless router and place that wireless router (with UPnP support and all that fancy stuff) inside the DMZ of the 2701HG-D DSL router everything (torrents, games, etc.) would work just fine right?

SSH & Bittorrent

I've been reading about how using SSH can bypass port blocking at universities, I even tried it with a few free SSH accounts around the web but it didn't seem to improve anything. Are there any good SSH services (I don't care if it costs a few dollars a month) that would really help me improve my ...

Comcast Upload Question

Is there a point at which you can upload enough for them to find you in denial of the TOS and disconnect you or charge you extra or something bad like that? I ask because I'm leaving for 9 days as of tomorrow and I have a BitTorrent download that I'd lke to leave open with an upload cap of 24KB/s ...

If that doesn't work I'll just go and buy and extra NIC ...

My red NIC isn't pulling an IP address from comcast through DHCP. It's starting to annoy me, I've got everything configured right I'm pretty sure, the MAC is spoofed, it just won't pull an IP address. In fact when it isn't working it doesn't even have an IP address of 0.0.0.0 that line just doesn't ...

Help making a Linux router

I don't want to buy a router as I've already got a very old computer down in my basement (133mhz, 1.2GB HD, 32MB ram, I have another 256MB ram that might work in this PC too, i haven't checked yet) and I wanted to turn that into a Linux router and firewall. Are the specs on the PC good enough to do ...
