Not my home, but my apartments. Our apartments provides roadrunner business class to the ports in our walls for free. I wouldn't know if anyone else in our apartments were using the torrents or not, and I don't even know where the router would be. Besides.... wouldn't torrents mess up my ping for ...

I thought that might be a problem too, but it seems to be working just fine for everyone else, and we really don't have that many people in there. Someone else on my network using torrents wouldn't cause an issue like this, would it? Low ping in everything except ventrilo

Update: I tried a ping -t to the ip address that my vent server is hosted on and it is consistently low, under 14ms with no spikes whatsoever. Unfortunately, I still see wild and erratic ping in ventrilo. I've unblocked the port used for that server in my windows firewall and I use no other firewall ...
