Its maybe becuase i have lost my job and i have nothings do to exept go on internet , and i blow up the limit very easy.

I have cacul that 10gig is like using 2% the time of the monht at the full speed of the connection.

bandwhit is not speed .

I got a great speed, 4,5 / 640

But my bandwhit is 10/10

Hi all , as you maybe know , all isp on Quebec province that provide cable and dsl service have now BANDWHIT LIMITS.

Most have 5 gig of up and 5gig of down.

Its commings like that over all the Canada and usa , or just here in Québec state ?

Its tru that the bandwhit is very costly for ISP ...

Ill have a dedicated server in my computer soon , when i join my dedicated server i got 0 ping . I want to know if it is possible to make the ping at 50ms whit somekind of program or somethings . Because when you got 0 ping its unfair for other player .

Ist not pause , IST HIGH LAGGING PROBLEM.

i was same as you , and now the server are more near , or they change the modem.

The nortel network suck . The acatel can go more far .

The isp tell us that ist 4 KM but in fact ist 3.5 km . More then 3.5 = LAG.

4 km or somethings , i dont realy remeber what is the exact reange for the co . But 100 meters can change all the AFFAIRE!

You are too far from the co.

When they have built the co more close to my house this problem dispear.

i have heard also that ATand T , have a 40ko/sec of up. And that sympatico will be soon offer a speed of 40ko/sec.

Why all dsl and cable seams to be capped at 128 k in canada and usa have 700 and up for the same price?

I live in montreal , i think i have call 5 provider of dsl and 1 cable . All are capped on the same : 128 .

The videotron cable of montreal said to me , that the speed 3 or 4 year ago was 900 ...

The problem of speed is now fixed.
By the way , for all who said that ADSL cannot be slow donw by other user , you are wrong! The isp admit that the speed where slow because to many user on the server.
