Hi, I've been trying to improve my ping times lately but haven't had much success so far. I've only been able to get shave off ~1 ms in general with the config below, which is good but maybe there's more that can be done about it.

My network speed is usually ~3.75Mbit [down] / ~0.60Mbit(max) - ~0.30Mbit(min) [up] depending on the day, hour, server, etc..

In addition to trying several configs, I've also done several tracerts and found a hop (the second) which is always present and adds a lot of latency but I don't know to who it belongs to, I thought it was a server that belonged to my ISP but the IP's of the servers from my isp usually start with 62...

Log into your router to check if connection is interleaved DSL.

If so, ping times at hop 2 are correct. Only non-interleaved signals give ping times below 20ms at the modem.

Yes, the channel mode is set to interleaved which is the only mode my ISP supports right now unfortunately. So I guess the only solution is to get another ISP that offers other channel modes, right?

Interleaved signals are employed in areas where the phone lines are rather old, to reduce signal errors.

If the phone lines in your neighborhood is in such a state, other providers will probably also need to run their system on interleaved mode.

I live in a city where some providers offer a fastpath mode so I guess the phone lines are in good state. Maybe my current ISP doesn't want to use other channel modes to reduce cost or something.
