I've had an IBM in this box for a year now,on 24/7 !
and never a hicup,,flawless performance,
people can have any brand hdd quit on 'em.
if you talk to 5 different people,you will get 5 different opinions,on hdd's.
look at western digital dropping from 3 year warr to 1 year!

For their standard 2 MB cache drives, yes. It's still 3 years for the Special Editions.

This is the same for maxtor as well. Since IBM is dropping out of the small market business, you'll see a lot of policy change.

Too fast to be true. I rather have a more reliable hdd than an Insanely fast but destructive HDD

IBM drives have faster access times, but that also means more noise, more wear and tear, which = shorter life.
