Mr. Armey, chairman of the House Select Committee on Homeland Security, included language in his markup of the legislation to prohibit the Justice Department from initiating the Terrorism Information and Prevention System, also called Operation TIPS.

The administration that put forth such a bill (and the House supported) will not be defeated by this. It's high time we all move to Canada.

But De Plano, any administration that could even think of, let alone propose, such a bill is corrupt. Just because their first attempt has seemingly failed, doesn't mean the problem has been solved. In many ways it's actually worse, because now the administration knows that the House supports the stripping of civil liberties and will fully utilize this.
