I've check the router and it is far from any electrical interference. Does an electrical power plant substation affects the signal?

I've got a little problem in my PC. At start up, there is a CMOS checksum error after memory test. I just press F1 to continue loading windows. Then I notice that my date and time settings are always date back on jan 2002 at 12:00. What could be the possible cause of these errors? Please help ...
