hard chirstmas gift choice xobx/or dvd system?

for chirstmas its up to me its ether xbox(i ahve ps2&gamecube)
or a dvd player with 5.1 speakers it allready has the decoder thing


dvdset=150$
xbox and 2 game =200$


so waht do u guys think i shuld set??? im totaly lost

Well ... personally I would opt for the DVD and speakers ... but what do I know? :D

on my tv i only have the one inout thing i think its called composte jsut the one thing for cable will the dvd player still work or do i ahve to buy something extra?? (when i play game i use the rfu adapter)

I would go with the xbox. Only because I once owned one and know how damn fun it is.

You already have a PS2 and a Gaycube, don't bother with a XBOX. I mean really, don't get silly with the consoles.

Most of the extreme low end Home Theatres in a Box sound a bit wanting. If you are content with the system, I would choose it over the Xbox. Of course, PS2 and Xbox can be used as a DVD player, though not for s-VCD's/

I always try to opt for quality.

A really good DVD player can be had for $200.

The X-Box, which seems to be a fine console is also worth the loot.

But a DVD player AND a home theater system bundled together may be too much of a compromise with your intended buying price.

Sleep on it.
