we have so much better technology now then we did thirty years ago ya know...

I mean, we have the Technology to build some really awesome spacecraft today, and build a neat orbiting spacestation! We even have the technology to be living on the moon in fact... But what stops us? Money

How are we ever going to get out THERE and explore our universe if we can't even get off our own planet cause of Money

it will take a greater understanding of how small we are in the universe before we can fix earth...

we need to start colonizing space

When push comes to shove, the Russians will come through.

If they don't, I'm sure someone will step in and help with their share. The amount needed isn't all that much when you consider how much money gets wasted in other endevours.

Too much spent already to have it (Space Station) go down the tubes.

This is THE reason why Russia was almsot excluded from the ISS project...
