I need help because my Dad says that using 2 computers (OS= Windows Xp and Me) and a printer, you can use any one of the computers to print something using 1 Printer.
I've tried using Windows ME to print but failed.Do I need any Configuration for both the PCs so to use 1 printer?
I appreciate any response

set the first computer that will have the printer attached to it. load the drivers for that printer
share that printer, give it a share name
then go to computer two.
I am assuming that you already have file and print sharing set up
go to computer two, search your network for the main computer....the one that has the printer physically attached. look for the printer
set up the printer as network printer \\firstcomputer\sharename of theprinter
and whala
??

Using third party programs like DAVE or PCMACLAN to share printers with Macintosh computers is VERY difficult. In my experience these programs are kludgy and dirty.
You have a few other options when it comes to printer sharing with a Mac. You can run Windows 2000 Server using AppleTalk, OSX 10 with built in SAMBA or invest in a HP JetDirect.
