Hack This!

http://www.informationwave.net/news/20020819riaa.php

One ISP isn't taking this RIAA hacking initiative sitting down. Taking the bull by the horns, they've blocked all traffic originating from RIAA networks, heading off the copyright protection offensive that the RIAA intends to impose. Obviously, I'm behind the ISP, though if this is made a matter of law in the U.S., ISPs will likely be met with legal action if they attempt such a thing. If enough ISPs show their disdain for legalized hacking on the part of private corporations, then maybe it will never become the atrosity that the DMCA has.

This whole thing is going to get interesting. Like norm said hackers started taking down the RIAA's server's and now ISP's are starting to block them. I hope that they get shut out from everything and cant do what they want.

go ISP!

What the RIAA doesn't realize (or if they do, I don't understand why they would even attemp it) is that there are much more advanced and better hackers outside of the RIAA, than who they think they have.

They've opened up a big can o' whoopass and are going to be fed it.

This is why they should stop now before they get themselves into more trouble than they bargained for.
