Hi there, I need some info on how to network 3 PCs to share a single ADSL modem. Problem is, the modem's a USB one and there doesn't seem to be any routers which support USB out there. Can anyone tell me if there is an equipment which can convert USB to the kind of socket which can support an RJ45 cable? Thanks

You could set 1 of the pc's as the gateway with internet connection sharing. Obviously ethernet would be faster than usb.
There are usb to ethernet pigtails available.

Hi, How do I go about networking the 2 PCs together? Both are running Win2k Pro. Can anyone give me the steps to follow so that both PCs can access the net at the same time?

Back up for us a moment. What is your current situation and what are you trying to achieve. That is, is there a router, are the 2 pc's communicating to each other and a gateway pc, how / where is the modem connected????
Tks

Make sure the same user account exists on both machines, and both machines are in the same workgroup. If you want to do File and Printer Sharing use NetBEUI.
