You cannot increase your upload, it is capped by your ISP.

Please click in my signature where it says Test tweak here, then:
At top where it says edit click and select, Select all,
Then go back to same edit button at top, click and select copy.
Come back to Speed Guide, same thread you were on, in post reply box, with cursor blinking at begining of box go to top, edit, click, select paste, click, this will put information in box. Please X out your IP address, Thank you.

TCP options string = 020405b40103030201010402
MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.
MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which is equal to MSS.
Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 256960
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 2 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 64240
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 10278.4 kbps (1284.8 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 4111.36 kbps (513.92 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 53 hops
TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

At the top:
In Optimizer select connection type at top, select adapter, select custom settings, enter 1 at a time 51100 or 64240, uncheck scaling under Tcp1323Opts, apply changes and REBOOT each time you change number in Optimizer, the following numbers scaling IS checked, try besides the ones thats in now: 601520, 607360, 642400

Larger RWIN does not always mean faster

TCP properties for IP = xx.xxx.xx.xx (xx-xxx-xx-xx.si.rr.com)
Note: Read the FAQ if the above is not your IP address.
Browser/OS = Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 98; Win 9x 4.90)

If your signature is correct, you only have 64MB of RAM? You should
REALLY increase that to atleast 128 if not 256 you will see a tremendous difference with everything.

We can't get above your upload CAP, maybe nearer it, IP was there?

Like mnosteele52 said, you have to get more RAM for downloads and uploads

2002-04-04 13:30:03 EST: 399 / 1474
Your download speed : 399010 bps, or 399 kbps.
Browsers would show : about a 48.7 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 1474201 bps, or 1474 kbps
Notice I have great upload speed?
This is on a cheap University network running at full capacity, and I mean it is at the limit and there is no extra bandwidth.
Most people complian about slowness and disconnections all the time.
I added this to my reg and I think it helps.
Play with it and see if it works for you.
You can always remove it if it does not help.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\MSTCP]
"DefaultTOS"=dword:00101000
Do get more RAM, it is so cheap.
I would bump it up to 512.

My POS computer has me locked in at 384 MB.
Intel 1.2G Tualatin Celeron
Intel 440BX Mobo
384MB SDRAM
NVidia TNT2 32MB
SBLive! Value
3Com 3C905B-TX
Not bad for a computer I bought about 3 years ago and have put only $200 or so in to it.
I need to build a new, but I am a poor college student.

Oh, I am not complianing about speed.
Only other people I share network with.
We are limited to 10 Mbs with 6000-8000 people sharing it.
I got my Reg hacked and fully optimized, to my knowledge.
Always looking for other hacks.
It would be nice to see a new post with all known .ini .bat and .reg hacks all in one post.
Just trying to help this guy out.
Did not notice he was capped at 300k up.
Going to give 01011100 a try.
