How do I get rid of the build number that is displayed on the desktop of my Windows XP system?

It says:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
"PaintDesktopVersion"=dword:00000000

CopynPaste the above into notepad. Save as DesktopVersion.reg or whatever. Right click on it and Merge

edit: Sorry the original post had that dword as 00000001. Its fixed now!

Retail Copy

I have purchased a retail copy, and I will be installing it this weekend when I have time.
