here in Sunny Florida I only have to walk across the street to the church here on the island. I'm in Clearwater in Pinellas County and we are choosing two city comissioners.

This is the first time for the new touch screen voting machines.

They give u a card like an ATM card with an arrow pointing which direction to put the card in. Then u just touch a circle next to whomever u would like to vote for.

There is a review button which to review your votes, after that hit next and then a "cast your ballot" button. Wait about 2 seconds to record vote and ur done. Take card out and ur all done.

Very fast and for folks who like computers makes voting kinda fun.


Too bad we didn't have these in 2000 then Al Gore could be Pres. Muahahahaha

*LOL* Let's not turn this into a second political debate thread here tonight ... even though sometimes I do wonder how things would be now if Gore had won...
