Hello

My problem is this, i cant send or get files in the ICQ, host online games, get files in mirc.... in general i cant connect directly.

This problem started after i hacked my modem (Alacatel Speed Touch home) to the PRO version so i could "build" my home network.

The network work just fine, but now i have those probs.

My instincs tell me its cos im using NAT (so i connect both network computers on my ADSL)
But i need my computer to use the "real" ip not the NAT

So does anyone have a clue how can i make the external IP (Real Ip) my Internal IP (NAT), without taking the network down?

Thanks Alot
Az

pnot really sure what you mean, is it that you cant get online at all or just cant use your software?
check ips, u may need to forward some ports for icq etc
try looking at the manual for the pro here it may help

http://www.speedtouchdsl.com/supuser.htm

you could also try posting in the dsl/router forum here alot of these guys use stpro's

http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/

hope this helps
sorry about that seems i posted same thing twice(i did just finish nightshift)

AHHHH. Same problem. Help.

I have the same problem. Except I can download off IRC. But I cant' host online games(which sucks sometimes) and I can't send or receive anything off ICQ and those little help things that tell you to open ports in ICQ don't work.

Someone help me too. I also suspect NAT. When I open Gamespy Arcade it says something about not being able to host a game because my Internal IP differs from my External IP.

HELP!!!!!
