Update on our SG friend

Mr X we love you my friend.
Yesterday, as most of you know, he had a Heart Catheterization done. The results were as expected.
He has a blood clot in the heart in an area that they cannot get to, which they have started him on a blood thinner, in hopes that it will dissolve the clot or at very least, keep it from getting larger.
They think he had a heart attack that went unnoticed. He didn't have any symptoms such as chest pain etc.
The rest of the arteries are clear and free of obstacles.
The aortic valve is barely closing at all. There is a 4+Severe Regurgitation. They are getting things ready for him to go to have Open Heart Surgery to replace the defective valve A.S.A.P., Now it's a matter of when.
Keep your chin up my friend. You know where we are if you need anything.

Mr. X...may I also add my "best wishes" to what has already been said. Knowing that so many people in your life care, is only a plus.

Thanks Suzie. I don't pretend to know Mr. X, but surely wish him a quick recovery (and lots of busty, long-legged nurses to help remind him why life is good).

You'll be fine, my friend. Anybody that can have a heart attack and not notice is just way too tough to let a little refurb bother him. We're all with you, buddy.

i wish you a very speedy recovery my friend. i would help out if i could but im $1,099 in debt myself and my job is cutting back hours. so like you im in between a rock and a hardplace. i didnt wanna say anything in the other thread because by the time i read it there were a million replys and mine would seem lost in a wash of get well's and such. so let me say it in this one Mr. X whoever you may be i wish you the best of luck and a good doctor. my great grandmother had the same thing done two years ago and she got out of the hospital was doing real good and then a clot moved from her leg up to her heart from where they had taken a piece of artery and she died. it was her 80th birthday. i hope nothing of the sort happens to you and for your familys sake dont try to get too active too early let your body heal and then go on because id hate for them to lose you as we lost a very important member of ours.

Suzie, thanks for keeping us updated.
Antipop, it's the thought that counts, we all know how young you are, and young people often have no money themselves, I've been there too. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, even though it is somewhat in the past now.
"Mr. X", you know that people from all over the world are pulling for you, and we all wish you nothing but the best. I wish you a speedy recovery, or "Gute Besserung" as we Germans say. With that and plenty of good looking nurses you should be back to your old self in no time, hopefully.
Cheers,
Ronald

If it helps my uncle had something almost the same. I was young at the time but he had a heart attack they said went unnoticed and he had a clot too in his heart. They treated him with some blood thiing drugs and he is still alive to this day. and doing well

Thanks to everyone for your encouragement and well wishes! I know he appreciates them more than words can say.
He's feeling under the weather this evening and running a fever, he's not sure if he picked up a bug or it's from the procedure. Hopefully the doctors will take care of this tomorrow.
Get some rest my friend.
