Hi,

I am having trouble walking in counterstrike. The key is set to "Shift" if i hold down shift, i still run. I always use "defaults", so nothing is conflicting. Is this a known problem or does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks.

Sumone or urself might have messed aorund with the config file from CS. Go to the config file in the CS folder and make sure "cl_fowardspeed 400"

walking? don't u set always run on and just tap forward when trying to be stealthy
do as the man says or just go to control setup and reset defaults to see if this cures it

Go into a game and type the following lines into your console, they will make the change permenant...

cl_forwardspeed 400
bind "shift" "+speed"
