Some work pics :)

Post by Indy »

Here's a pic of the inside of my work truck, showing a lot of the stuff that I use :)

Image

Here's me and two other techs trucks when we stopped for lunch yesterday (mmm, Chinese food.... :) )

And, to top it off, a couple of drivers who don't know how to drive:

I've got 1660's, 1208's, and 1211's, along with a few Intel Pro 10/100+ cards, plus the Linksys USB adapters as well... :)

I've got a few mac cards tucked away in the back (hidden from view), that I keep just in case...I think I've used maybe a total of 5 mac cards in the last 2 years...most macs that we have in the system are iMacs, G3s or G4s, which already have the ethernet built in...

The pcmcia cards, did you get those through work? Or did you buy those separately? They have no provision for those here...if you have a laptop here, you have to already have your own pc card, or a usb port, or you don't get installed...

I have worked in both comcast and att system and they gave me a crap load of pcmcia cards and i rarley use them. And as far as provisioning goes there really isnt any here. We just proviosion the modem, not the cards mac.

Yeah, that's the same here...just that we don't have any pcmcia cards in our warehouse system...never had any in the two and a half years that we've been doing it here...

I thought that I was going to get pulled over for sure the other day...I was entering onto the highway and was trying to get past a semi to merge into traffic...I looked down at the spedometer and noticed I was doing around 80 - 85 mph...I look in my right side mirror and see a county sheriff...Sh**...but, as I slowed down, he went right on by...

No, not really...you should have seen my truck two weeks ago :) Pretty well trashed out...I spent the last week cleaning it up, turning in old modems, washing the exterior, etc...now that I've got it cleaned out, it's going to stay that way...it was driving me nuts having crap strewn out everywhere :)

Yeah, the cones in front is fairly new...started doing that about a year ago...
