What does it mean when the anoucer guy says "holy sh1t?"

I've never heard him say that before. Usually he just says impressive and other stuff like that?

I cant remember exactley but I believe there was a mod a while back that changed some of the announcement sounds, or they were added to one of the patches

You were most likely playing online, on a server which had some cool "pak" mod.

I would assume you were playing Quake III Team Arena.

The announcer says "Holy ****!" when you frag the flag/skull carrier when he/she is VERY close to scoring. For example, your opponent has your flag and is inches from capturing it (i.e., right next to his/her own flag), and you hit one cool rail shot and drop him.

Definitely one of my favorite sounds.

Thats it. I nailed the guy with a rail shot as he was inches from scoring!!!

Sweet! I wasnt sure if it was that or I just fragged a bunch of guys in a relitively short amount of time.

yes....dont know exactly what triggers it but he says holy sh@t when you stop a score in ctf

was awesome...in dueling keeps...excessive mod.....hit the bounce pad at the base of the other teams side....machine gun up......plowed the guy like a few feet from his flag.....was killer hehehehe.

I play ACTF, and when you kill someone relatively close to there flag (when there about to cap) then it'll say "Holy ***t!"..

sucks when it happens to you tho..

it means you severly unlucky mf who nearly, yeah "nearly scored", just lining you up with me rail now
