NetFast HS - Magikal Solution!

Well guyz, I don't know if you browse through SPEEDCORPS, I have postings there about NetFast HS as well, I'm a tweaker along with a few other friends, I heard about NetFast HS from one of the employees of Net2Fast.net who was my AIM buddy... well to make a long story short, NetFast HS Rocks! Is the best Cable Modem and DSL tweaker get it from http://www.net2fast.net/hs/
Check out the a part of my posting on SPEEDCORPS, it reveals reasons for NetFast HS being better than other "patches" (I call them tweakers)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
U don't trust those things? Well ok, dude. Just wanted to tell you that I went into my registry and checked out a few tweaks that NetFast HS does right and that SPEEDCORP does wrong, its simple...
Tcp1323Opts = "3" (DWORD Value) this is correct, the Tcp1323Opts are supposed to be DWORD Values, not Strings (which is what SPEEDCORP does wrong)!!! and the other one is a typo on the registry setting change... Instead of editing "SackOpts" SPEEDCORP edits "SockOpts"
I hope you aren't
To check out the rest of the settings that NetFast HS does simply go into the advanced settings of SPEEDCORP after using NetFast HS, although as I said SPEEDCORP tries to read an incorrect value for Tcp1323Opts and SackOpts.
I'm a Registry tweak guy, been in the bussines for a lil while, MY personal verdict... NetFast HS works BETTER than SPEEDCORP.
Whats wrong with it being for Windows 98/ME? oh and in their cheap looking FAQ page (http://www.net2fast.net/hs/faq.html) it says that Windows 95 Users can use it as long as they get a Winsock Update.
OH and since I'm bored and have nothing to do, here is what tweak of NetFast HS according to the speed up method:
--- Method 1: ---
TTL = 128 (String Value)
DefaultRcvWindow = 32767 (String Value)
PMTUBlackHoleDetect = "0" (String Value)
PMTUDiscovery = "1" (String Value)
SackOpts = "1" (String Value) -(In comparisson to SPEEDCORP it does "SockOpts" which is WRONG)
Tcp1323Opts = "3" (DWORD Value)
MaxMTU [of every binding] = "1500" (String Value)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--- Method 2: ---
TTL = 128 (String Value)
DefaultRcvWindow = 93440 (String Value)
PMTUBlackHoleDetect = "0" (String Value)
PMTUDiscovery = "1" (String Value)
SackOpts = "1" (String Value) -(In comparisson to SPEEDCORP it does "SockOpts" which is WRONG)
Tcp1323Opts = "3" (DWORD Value)
MaxMTU [of every binding] = "1500" (String Value)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--- Method 2: ---
TTL = 128 (String Value)
DefaultRcvWindow = 186880 (String Value)
PMTUBlackHoleDetect = "0" (String Value)
PMTUDiscovery = "1" (String Value)
SackOpts = "1" (String Value) -(In comparisson to SPEEDCORP it does "SockOpts" which is WRONG)
Tcp1323Opts = "3" (DWORD Value)
MaxMTU [of every binding] = "1500" (String Value)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope to have brought 'norance' to you
