Dont you live on a secluded island in your own custom built mansion/stronghold/fortress/summer house?
I know you're a rich mofo, but I wouldn't swim to your doorstep.

About 10 kids. Usually about 75/100. Kind of bums me out, we have a ton of left over candy.

personally, in the face of recent happenings, i cant see halloween surviving more than another 4-5 years before it is strictly a niche holiday that is only celebrated in a few areas.

Watch your tongue if you like this job!!!! LOL
Snap out of it Macho!!!
In light of recent happenings it is our duty to sustain our way of life...IMHO. I refuse to let them change me.

We ended up getting around 25 or 30 people here...I remember living on base a few years back and we probably had around 500 people come by...since it was on base and it was a nice neighborhood, everyone that lived off base brought ther kids to our neighborhood...

I think while I was home, we got like 5 rings, so probably like 10 kids. There may have been more while I was at blockbuster, Kmart, Sonic, or Backyard Burgers, but my parents were here to open the door, so it's all good. It was kind of depressing though. Where I grew up in Ohio, we ran from house to house. Half the kids I saw tonight were getting driven around. I guess part of it has to do with the fact that houses are farther apart down here, but still. I do remember one Halloween when I got driven around, but that's because it was bitterly cold and sleeting, so we'd get in the car and warm up every few houses.

We got about 25 - 30 kids this year, not many at all and we didn't get anyone past 7:30. What a disappointment. The kids that where out where in great spirits. They came so few and far between we started giving great big handfuls. Still have a big bag of candy left over. Lights out by 9pm not one person came after 7:30 and no one on the streets.

I did see some really cute costumes though and the kids where so polite. No UNICEF boxes this year either. What's up with that?

we had some 18 year old black girl come up with regular clothes on and say trick-or-treat. hmm....i live in a white neighborhood (mid-west Ohio). anyway, my wife told her that we didn't have any candy.
isn't there something wrong with an 18 year old girl from other side of town trick-or-treating without a costume on a day NOT for trick-or-treating? hmm....

We had a lot of that a few years ago. They came in groups. I think they were bored and it was just something to do.
