How can I find out my motherboard type and spec without opening up the pc?

goto http://www.cnet.com search for SiSoft SANDRA, dl the demo and installa dn open it and goto "mainboard information"

You can also d/l a program called "Belarc Advisor".
It's free and tells EVERYTHING inside your comp.....t
