Wake on lan

Hi:
I've got a motherboard with wake on lan an a nic that supports this. How can I set up my system to be able to remotely activate the computer?

I don't really remember, but I think when I got my computer, it was already set up for me. You can check your BIOS settings to make sure it's set for wake on LAN. Aside from that, I don't know. Oh, and make sure that the little power cable thing on the LAN is connected to the motherboard, otherwise the wake on LAN feature won't work.
If you have a router, then it probably won't be that useful to you anyway, because if you wake it from within the LAN, you may as well just walk across the room and turn on the computer. I don't think you'd be able to wake it remotely from outside your LAN.
