Hi, I am running RedHat Linux 7.1 and I used the tweak sugguested in this forum where I modify both the kernel and the file at run-time too. I set the Default Recieve is 262140 and Max Recieve Window is 262140. And this is what I got in Speedguide Analyzer.

TCP options string = 020405b40402080a00016d580000000001030300
MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.
MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1448, which is less than MSS because of Timestamps, or other TCP/IP options used.
Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 5840
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 5840
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 233.6 kbps (29.2 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 93.44 kbps (11.68 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
Consider increasing your RWIN value to optimize TCP/IP for broadband.
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 55 hops
TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = ON
Note: Timestamps add 12 bytes to the TCP header of each packet, reducing the space available for useful data.
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

Any sugguestion??

Click on help thread below in signature and follow directions exactly, please leave your OS and system specs if you have not done so.Also if you have Cablenuts adjuster installed I need to know that. There are some Tips and how to do speed test on help thread. Thank you and , no ccs file if you install SG patches. Please do this AFTER you install patches:

At top where it says edit click and select, Select all,
Then go back to same edit button at top, click and select copy.
Come back to Speedguide, same thread you were on, in post reply box, with cursor blinking at begining of box go to top, edit, click, select paste, click, this will put information in box. Please X out your IP address, Thank you.

1.0 GB of RAM
32 NViDIA Video card
Redhat Linux 7.1 (therefore I can't use cablenut)
Browser Opera for Linux

Well just download patches that apply to you off patch page
