If you are experiencing problems with Internet Explorer 6 one possible cause may be Spy/Ad-ware files installed by many Applications with, or (more likely) without your knowledge. NOTE - Removing Ad-ware files may break Applications that require them. Any Spy/Ad-ware files/references can be detected & removed from your system by Lavasoft's excellent Ad-Aware.

You kept telling people not to try FlashGet and DAP, but if I have AdAware in my post DIRECTLY above the Tweaks, then why is there a problem? Is there any Issues that you might rise? No?

Making an A S S of oneself might be a bit harsh. People make mistakes but that doesn’t necessarily make them an A S S. I make lots of mistakes (I keep track) but I would like to think that people don’t focus on “what I might have said wrong” but what I did to help them.

I’m sure Lobo will be back in the AM to address you’re A S S concerns… but from where I sit (near the back of the bus) I would have to say that Lobo makes mistakes like everyone does. What I boldly state as a truth yesterday… I will retract tomorrow after learning new findings. Now that the A S S thing is out there (and most people would read that as a negative) do you have anything positive to say about Lobo?

Sorry, but I got really psed after he kept telling me and people again and again.. " Don't use FlashGet". He started the thing, and he added insults on my other thread, so it's kinda hard for me not to fight back.

and I have something good to say about Lobo. He has probably helped more people here than the rest of us put together.

I might not ALWAYS agree with Lobo regarding tweaking, but he helps TONS of folks here and he is a great guy.

I know that, but that doesn't give him the privilage to scream his head off telling people what they are doing is wrong, if it's not recommanded by him.

ESC, is it lawfull to take anything out of those products you push, you already had a Mod ask you, so I have written to then but already know the answer

They spilt it into 7 threads so that you can have half of the downloads on the crowded servers while the other half gets job done on another server that's not as crowded. I personally do not know if Ken uses ad-aware or not, so there might be your problem right there.

Be careful...
Always remember to read the EULA (End Users License Agreement) VERY carefully.
It many it states that it is unlawful to alter the program in any way...

Another word of advice is to be careful what you let AdAware delete, as it doesn't correct the registry and you may find that you start having problems with your puter...

Well, if altering a program is illegal, then i am pretty sure that Speedguide or any other tweaks out there is too. You know that Ad-Aware lists a list of Spywares on your computer and asks whatever you should do with them, So you know whether to delete the file or not because you know what it is, like DoubleClick, or other spyware companies.

No Speedguide is not breaking the law, they make their own patches, but the ones you recomemd do not want you to remove the spyware, write them and ask

What's the point? They will just flat out deny that there's no Spywares in, if any are at all.

The Tweaks/Options were there by itself, not changing anything of DAP. DAP put it there for a reason, so that it will suit your computers. So what's the problem?

Oh it's in there, easy to find out, don't ask them if you can remove spyware, ask them if you can alter it in anyway

They are problably not going to answer my email, so I am going to make you a deal. Tell me what exactly why you are doing this and what you want me to do in JUST one post.(Yeah, I know, it's hard), and I will try to meet your demands, ok?

still haven't answered my Questions. And I didn't say that I "Owned" or created the tweaks, it's just that I told you to try out a number, but then you said it didn't work for you, that's all it is.

Show me where you said that, people come here for help, not spyware and I don't care if they know it is or not, I do know they do not want there product altered in any way, sure ad aware will remove it, but that is not the point, we are telling people to do things that are not legal

I am Quoting this! Spyware was illegal in the first place, so now it's illegal to get rid of illegal spyware that sends your info for ads?
