After reading all the variables for defaultrcv's it seems to max out at the highest value of 522680. It is my understanding that OS 98 can max out at 1g.
If l change the value to 899360 l rate better on the speed test, but the actual speed seems to be slower. Can we go higher than the 522680 value. thanks jgordon107@home.com

Well, you CAN set your RWIN as high as 1,073,741,823 (2^30 - 1) and it will work. The problem with this is that your speed may suffer because of packet loss and retransmissions.

Most connections do not need an RWIN higher than a couple hundred thousand at the absolute most.
