The speedguide.net domain was originally purchased on 5/5/1999, exactly 18 years ago!
It's been a wild ride, and we're still here

(well at least some of us

)
The SG speed test has been completely revamped over the past couple of weeks, it is now HTML5, supports all modern browsers, and uses multiple streams/threads to better test download/upload/ping/jitter!

By the way, if anyone has spare change, er. bandwidth on a dedicated server somewhere, we can use a few extra mirrors, the change to the new speed test last night rendered many of the old speed test mirrors obsolete. Here is some info on hosting a mirror:

Life and other forums got in the way. I got married two months ago and traveled for a month. All in all, life has been great!
How are things with you?

Congrats on the ball and chain!

(MadDoc can elaborate if you insist, but I'd be scared)
I am fine, my two daughters are growing fast... I tried that too (growing up) for a while... hated every minute of it so I gave it up

Wow, 18 again huh? oh, sorry, I thought it was ME
I am still around but not much these days. It's a pity that so many are not here anymore, for one reason or another.
Still like to poke my head in here occasionally to see how it is all going.
