Pretty soon it's going to get to a point if you get in a fight and while you're hitting the other guy you call him an hole
you're going to go to jail for a Hate Crime. The holes will have some sort of coalition where they don't like being called that.

PC is BS imho as well guys
Hell you hate to tell a joke anymore for fear of upsetting someone. What the hell happened to having a sense of humour.

I agree, but also think there's a time and place for everything.
Some commonly used terms and phrases are offensive to a lot of people, and I try to be aware of that.
Especially working retail.
But you can never cover all your bases. I've had customers ream me or my co-workers for saying:
"Have a good day."
"Would you like a bag?"
Not non-PC per se, but close enough in the sense that you never know what's going to set people off.
What gets me is that it's now frowned upon to wish people, "Merry Christmas"
"Happy Holidays" is the current PC version.
I get it, but also don't appreciate how uptight some people get over such a small, to me, issue. If I didn't celebrate Christmas I'd wish the speaker whatever the hell I was celebrating back to them and be fine with it.

I was seeing something on TV the other day about it being offensive calling someone who is fat, fat.

This took a TV article for you to realize it's offensive?
Well yeah. If they're fat, they're fat. You know it, they know it.
But unless they're a damn good friend, they're going to be offended if you call them fat. PC be damned, otherwise just inconsiderate.

Its annoying but definitely not going away. Some of it is needed and good to get out there to help with discrimination, but a lot of it is just stupid.
People these days are overly sensitive.

It's not that I'm going to walk up to someone and call them fat. I just don't want to be talking with friends about someone who is fat and then either be overheard by someone that considers this offensive and have to deal with their attitude.
this is dripping with "politically incorrect" LOL

Yeah. You're either fat or you're not. If you are, you know it. As far as third person goes, best of luck.
You never know what's going to set people off. Some of it makes sense and you say, "my bad, never should have said that." Other stuff, the person can just f* off.
Had a customer blow her wad today for no reason.
New employee asked me if we could refund a credit card.
In front of the customer, I explain credit yes no problem, debit no but there are ways around that.
She had a an aquarium tank divider that she said was missing a couple parts. Had the receipt and regular customer.
No problem I say, would you like the refund on your card, cash back which is better for us, exchange for another item?
Another co-worker comes up and asked if maybe she dropped the missing parts, which she took as accusing her of stealing the item and basically flew off the handle.
"Never shopping here again. I bought this and you're treating me like I stole it"
Long short, easy situation to a bad one within 30 seconds. Tried to explain to her that no one was accusing her of stealing anything, receipt was fine, refund was fine.
Ended up having to ask her to quit cursing and not to put words in my mouth. She was pissed and getting more pissed by the moment.
Money refunded, thank you and have a nice day. Stream of curses as she went out the door.

Offensive is 1 thing, politically correct is another. Basically politically correct is a lie by nature of what it is...

Something kinda related are the comments about the Black Widow character in the new Avengers movie being called a slut and a ***** by Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans. Ridiculous that its getting so much attention and outrage from idiots.
